Yes. Many patients experience reduced cravings and improved appetite control, making it easier to stay consistent with their plan.

Most patients tolerate medications like semaglutide or tirzepatide well, but some may experience side effects, especially when starting or increasing doses.

Common side effects may include:

  • Nausea
  • Constipation or diarrhea
  • Decreased appetite
  • Mild fatigue

These are typically temporary and improve over time. Your provider will guide dosing and adjustments to minimize side effects and keep you comfortable.

This depends on your goals and how your body responds.

Some patients use medication for several months to reach their goal, while others continue longer to maintain results.

We work with you to create a plan that supports both weight loss and long-term maintenance, not just short-term results.

    • Reduced cravings and better appetite regulation
    • Improved blood sugar control
    • Increased energy
    • Improved metabolic health
    • Better confidence and overall well-being

In addition to weight loss, many patients experience:

Healthy, sustainable weight loss is typically:

👉 5–15% of body weight over time

Many patients begin to see changes within the first few weeks, with more consistent results over 2–3 months and beyond.

The goal is steady, sustainable progress—not rapid or extreme weight loss.

Weight regain can happen if lifestyle habits and metabolic factors are not addressed.

That’s why my program focuses on:

  • Ongoing support
  • Nutrition and protein guidance
  • Sustainable habits

to help you maintain your results long-term.

Not all patients are appropriate candidates for prescription weight loss medications. Certain medical conditions, medications, or risk factors may require alternative approaches or further evaluation.

Eligibility is determined based on your medical history, current health status, and safety considerations to ensure treatment is appropriate for you.

In many cases, yes—however, this is determined on an individual basis.

To continue at your current dose, you will need to provide documentation of your existing prescription. This must include your name, medication, dose, and date filled.

If it has been more than 4 weeks since your last dose, you will need to restart at a lower, beginning dose for safety.

This helps reduce the risk of side effects and allows your body to readjust appropriately.

Once opened, medication vials are generally recommended for use within 28 days.

You should also follow the beyond-use date (BUD) or expiration date listed on your prescription label.

Using medication beyond these timeframes may increase the risk of reduced effectiveness or potential safety concerns.
